Auto Role

You can setup Auto Role in the /autorole menu. Humans and bots have separate role lists, so you can give them different roles.

In Settings you can turn on Wait for rules screening, set a Delay of up to 24 hours (like 5s, 1m or 2h), and pick Ignored roles. Ignored roles are only skipped during /autorole sync.

You can Sync to add missing join roles to people already in the server.
