Join Guard
Check new members and stop raids
Join Guard runs when someone joins. You can find it in the /automod menu. Join Checks looks at every new member, Join Flood catches raids.
Besides the normal actions, Join Guard can Pause Invites and Pause DMs for the whole server, for 1 hour by default (up to 24 hours).
Join Checks
Click Add Condition to add what the rule looks for. If a rule has more than one condition, all of them have to match.
| Condition | What it does |
|---|---|
| Account Age | The account is younger than a set age, 7d by default. |
| Account Created | The account was made before or after a date you set. |
| Default Avatar | They still have Discord's default profile picture. |
| Sketchy Name | Their name looks auto made, like user284 or 29047473. |
| Name Contains | Their username or display name has a banned word. |
| Guild Tag | They have a server tag, or one of the tags you list. |
| Unverified Bot | A bot gets added that isn't verified. |
| Bot Added | A bot gets added that isn't on your trusted list. |
Every condition has Only during Join Flood. Use it for checks that would be too strict all the time, like the default avatar.
Join Flood
Trips when a lot of people join in a short time, 10 joins in 1 minute by default. Each rule counts joins in its own time window. By default everyone who joined in that window gets the actions, or pick This joiner only in When it trips.
If more than one Join Flood rule trips, only the fastest one runs, like 8 joins in 10s over 20 joins in 5m. It runs once per wave.
After it trips, Kuyo stays strict for 10 minutes and runs the actions on everyone who joins in that time. You can change this with Stay strict for, or end it early with /automod join clear.
To kick everyone who joins during a raid, add a Moderate action set to Kick.
